Updated Release: Crime du Jour

I’ve decided to bring my mystery stories back under my own name (DeAnna Knippling) instead of a pen name. Crime du Jour is a collection of very short (500 words – 1500 words) short stories, each one about a different crime.

Generally from the criminal’s point of view.

I figured out a long time ago that while I do like to write mysteries, I tend to like characters who break the rules more than I do the ones who follow them. So my amateur sleuths tend to have only a passing relationship with the legal system, either in their investigations or in their search for justice, and I have a lot of fun writing stories from the criminals’ points of view.

There’s a difference between good versus evil, of course, but I tend to have more fun with Reasonably Naughty versus WOW NOPE THAT’S GOING TOO FAR NOW.

A lot of these stories are from the Reasonably Naughty point of view. Whether that strikes you as good or bad is up to you.

Now available on many online bookstores and from my online bookstore

(As always, I get the biggest cut of the profits if you shop direct, but please use whatever is most convenient for you.)
