Right! Ray and I are in Tampa, which means we’re in the path for Hurricane Ian.
We were in St. Pete next to the bay, but now we are further away from the water, around Busch and 50th. We are near the top of the one hill in Tampa and are not actually in an evac zone at all.
I’m anticipating loss of power and water (and Internet), but not a need to evacuate. The car’s full of gas just in case.
I’ll try to remember to keep updating, but I think it’s mostly a matter of staying put until the storm passes.

Edit: we are definitely above the predicted storm surge levels, which are 5-10 feet. Best guess, we’re 30+ feet above the Hillsborough River, which is the closest body of water to us.
