Catching Up on Ebooks

I am behind on making posts to Patreon!  I have several ebooks that I’m going to attach for you this time so I can get caught up and have a clean slate for January 1.

What we have goes like this:

Something Borrowed, Something Blue – horror novellette. It’s not a good neighborhood–not anymore–but the residents are fighting back against the encroaching chaos.  Then one day a mysterious van shows up a long the street.  The side’s been painted with the words “Something borrowed, something blue, something terrible will happen to you.”  Prophetic…or just a bunch of hooligans?

All the Retros at the New Cotton Club – science fiction, 1920s-flavored novellette.  Bernice is a rich guy’s second wife.  The kids and the first wife are gonna get most of the money; if Bernice wants any, she has to host her dead husband’s A.I. in her own skull for the next three years.  That is, his “ghost,” to use the crass term for it.  It’s more fun than she thinks–until somebody comes looking for him.  Somebody dangerous.

How Smoke Got Out of the Chimneys – historical crime/caper novellette.  Caroline, a.k.a. the infamous Smoke, is a 16-year-old orphan girl who still helps work with a chimney gang in 1840s London.  Only she’s about to be sold to a brothel in Whitechapel, which means it’s time to get out.  But it’s gonna take more than askin’ pretty please to get the gang boss to let her go…

How Smoke Delivered A Christmas Present – historical crime/caper novella.  Caroline, a.k.a. the infamous Smoke, has escaped her chimney gang and is working as an assistant to a rich heiress while saving orphans from poverty, ignorance, and the freezing winter cold.  If only they would stay saved!  Three of “her” orphans have disappeared, and nobody knows what happened to them…

The Ballad of Molly McGee – urban fantasy/witch short story.  Molly McGee has always been trouble.  Just ask her grandmother.  Now the foul-mouthed, powerful curse witch is having her first baby–up in the mountains, away from anyone who might get hurt.  But maybe not far enough away from the even more powerful father…

Well!  That’s what happens when you get busy, I suppose.  I hope you’re having happy holidays and looking forward to an excellent new year.
