Hypothetically, I’m supposed to be able to use Smashwords to get ebooks to the Kobo bookstore. In fact, Smashwords tells me that they’ve delivered 7 of 11 titles to them.
However, none of those titles are currently in the Kobo bookstore, including the one I published in February.
According to Kobo’s website, you can publish directly with Kobo. It looks like you have to do your own conversion (I’ll probably try Calibre first).
However, I saw a few posts (dated last year) that Kobo was telling authors to go through an aggregator, so I won’t get my hopes up. More info as I get it.
If you have experience working directly through Kobo, let me know how it went, eh?
